Reservations
When should I make my reservation?
We recommend booking your reservation as soon as your travel plans are confirmed to ensure we have the items you want. Keep in mind there is a 2 day minimum rental on all baby gear. On your departure day, the gear needs to be ready for pick up by 9 am. If you need the gear for the day not a problem, just note that a daily charge will apply for gear kept past 11 am.
What if I need my order delivered within 24 hours?
We understand plans can be made last minute and that sometimes emergencies arise so we will do all we can to accommodate last minute requests.
When will I be charged?
Your credit card will be processed the day prior to your delivery unless you have made other arrangements for payment. You may also pay by cash. A credit card is still required to be on file in the event of any damage and/or loss.
Can I add to my order later?
Sure! You can add items to your order any time providing the item is available. Call us to make changes to your order at 1-888-461-7222 or 631-803-4322 or email us at info@hamptonsbabygear.com.
Can I rent for longer than a month?
Sure! We love long term rentals so much that we offer a 10% discount on gear rented longer than a 2 month period.
Delivery
Where do you deliver to and how much does it cost?
Delivery is $25 to most of the Hamptons area. We specialize in delivery to Westhampton, Quogue, East Quogue, Eastport, Speonk, Hampton Bays, Southampton, Bridgehampton, Water Mill, Sag Harbor, East Hampton, and Montauk too! And all fees are waived with orders of $300 or more!
Please note that extra delivery charges may apply if we need to make additional delivery stops.
Airport/ Hotel Deliveries
Delivery and pick-ups to MacArthur, Westhampton (Gabreski) and Easthampton Airports are available at the cell phone waiting areas. Delivery/ pick-ups are never a problem at any of the Hotels, Motels, Inns, train stations, or Jitney and Luxury Liner Bus stops.
What times and days do you deliver items?
Deliveries and pick ups are usually made between the hours of 9 am and 6 pm every day of the week. If you need your items delivered or picked up at other hours just call us and we will make the best possible arrangements to accommodate you. We will call you the day before to schedule a 2 hour time frame for the drop off/pick up of the baby gear. Please keep in mind that someone must be available at the time of delivery to sign for the gear and that rescheduling a missed delivery may result in an additional delivery charge.
How does set up work?
No worries! If a crib is included in the order we will gladly assemble it for you. Upon delivery we will be happy to demonstrate how each item works and/or set it up for you. We are unable to install your car seat for liability reasons, but please check your area for the nearest car seat installation location.
What happens if I need to cancel my order?
There will be no charge for cancellations made more than 48 hours of your scheduled delivery date. Cancellations made less than 48 hours will be subject to a charge of 50% of the full order. No refunds will be made after delivery has been attempted or for any unused rental days in the case of early return.
Do you offer group discounts?
Contact us for group pricing but just keep in mind that all items must be delivered and picked up to the same location and at the same time.
Safety
What product brands do you use?
We select only top-rated products and manufacturers in the baby industry to use as rental items. Our inventory includes items from Bugaboo, B.O.B, Doug & Melissa, Britax, Graco, Fisher Price, Safety First, and Lil Tikes. We want you and your little one to feel right at home using the same high quality products that you would select for your own use. On the occasion we need to substitute a similar item we will notify you.
Are your products safety checked and sanitized?
Yes, we thoroughly safety check each item after it is returned and we carefully clean, launder, and sanitize every rental item. We use Seventh Generation Free and Clear hypoallergenic detergent and cleanser (which are organic) to clean and launder all our items. We also carefully monitor the recall the status of all our children's products.
Damage Policy
What if I lose, damage, or return my gear dirty?
Not a problem, but do keep in mind that any of our rented gear may be subject to an additional cleaning charge of $20 - $50 if returned dirty or in disrepair. And if any items are lost, stolen, or damaged we will charge your credit card the cost of replacement or repair.
